In celebration of being alive @ 35 as well as the 5th anniversary of the forming of the rock n' roll outfit My Psycho Ex there will be a GRAND EVENT with all proceeds going to Keys To The Studio. Fresh off of a North American tour supporting Juliette Lewis local up and comers *DEARLY BELOVED* will be headlining the event supported by *GARGANTUA* featuring the one and only *Clifton David* who has just completed work on his debut album with legendary Producer Eddie Kramer. A new look *My Psycho Ex* will pull out a brief set in recognition of the day it all started. Look for MPX producer Clifton David on guitar and a cameo from John Jowett, Director of Keys To The Studio on horns. There is no question that this is a show not to miss!

Keys To The Studio promotes the creation of original music with a collaborative music project matching professional musicians one-to-one with members of the community of people diagnosed with intellectual and developmental disabilities. It unlocks the barriers to self-expression for musicians from this community to reveal their music.

Keys To The Studio

• provides a safe and encouraging environment where there is freedom to explore the individual’s artistic voice

• accommodates the special needs of the young musicians to foster the creation of original music

• integrates the young musicians and their music with each other, the arts community and the public

• begins the process of ensuring that artistic services for the general population are available on an equal basis to persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities

• raises awareness throughout society, including at the family and caregiver levels, of the capabilities and contributions of persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities

Keys To The Studio—Unlocking Creativity for the Differently Abled was incorporated December 7, 2007
with a mandate—

• To provide support and encouragement to persons with disabilities by offering programs in the arts aimed at individual development and integration into the community

• To educate the public and increase understanding and appreciation of the role of the arts in the development of disabled persons and their integration into the community

• To promote self-expression and self-esteem through the study and practice of the arts

To promote collaboration, lectures, concerts, classes and seminars in the arts and art-related activities.
